Gracehill Primary School

I painted this a few months ago, inspired by the village and surroundings where our son was in his first year of Primary School. Fuelled a little by a challenging pre-school experience and then the genuinely beautiful first stages of Primary School with great teachers, community and kindness… I simply had to paint a series of works that reflected what I saw each day but, also pointed towards bright hope for tomorrow.

This morning I spent a few hours with two Primary 7 classes, giving them ideas and encouragement as well as watching them paint in an abstract style. It was a joy.

So, I simply had to gift this painting to Gracehill Primary School.
